The social status of a hairdresser & barbers can vary throughout different communities but the framing of how we see ourselves is something I have found to be far more common and shared with in our industry.

After working extensively in the 3 genres of salon, fashion & education and travelling the world to some of the most remote places on all continents, I have studied many hairstylists & barbers from different backgrounds and have recognized a similar pattern of self- perspective that transcends language and culture.
